Guidelines for Oral Presentations

General information

  • All presentations will be run through the company COEO, they are responsible for both on-site equipment and online presentations
  • Screen size in all the rooms: widescreen (16:9)
  • Are encouraged to join their session at least 10 minutes in advance to check that their presentation is present, of proper quality and runs smoothly
  • All sessions will be recorded and available afterwards on the COEO platform. 

Lengths of talks

There are two types of oral presentations: contributed talks lasting 15 minutes, and invited talks lasting 15 or 30 minutes (at the discretion of the convenors, and including time for questions). 

Online speakers

Will run their presentation through the online platform from COEO  using ‘share screen’ option: an invite to the platform and instructions on how to share your presentation will be sent out at latest one week before the conference.

In person speakers

  • Must upload their presentation at latest 15 minutes before their session starts in ppt or pdf format onto the computer in the corresponding session room using a usb-stick (extra usb-sticks will be available in each room).
  • Presentation should be named with last name, first name and session. Ex: JohanssonMaria_SWR4.ppt
  • Are encouraged to keep a backup of their presentation with them, preferably on USB or other portable device 
  • No personal computer will be allowed for presenting!
  • If your presentation contains videos, or sounds, please make sure to talk to a “COEO” person in advance or the helper in your session room.
