There are two possible lines of application for financial support. The first line of financial support is granted by the ESWW National and Local Organizing Committees. The second one is granted by the European Space Agency through its ESA Academy Conference Student Sponsorship programme. The two lines are not exclusive, and applicants may choose one or both according to their needs.
Participants who wish to apply to either lines for financial support must submit an abstract for oral or poster presentation. Please note that the deadline for oral abstract submission is 15th May 2026.
The deadline for both lines of application for financial support is 15th July, 2026 at 23:59 CEST.
The decision by the Selection Committee will be communicated by mid-August.
Support can include fee waiving, accommodation and/or travel support, depending on the available fundings.
Participants who wish to apply must be the contact author and the presenting author of their contribution, and they must submit an abstract by 15th May, 2026.
The LOC will, in due time, decide upon which applications will be funded, and on what level of support to be provided. All applicants will be informed of the decision thereafter.

To be eligible for an ESA Academy Student Sponsorship, students must fulfil the following criteria at the time of application:
Priority will be given to students who have less than 2 years of professional experience and have never taken part in an activity sponsored by the ESA Education Office.
